OUR STORY
Marlowe was founded in London by Tom, built on a simple idea: the glasses worth owning are the ones you actually wear. Not the pair that sits in a drawer. Not the pair that looks right in the box and wrong on your face. The pair you reach for every day, because it works everywhere you go.
For too long, the choice has felt narrow. Designer frames, beautifully made, but built for people who never think twice about the cost. Or blue light glasses, built for function and nothing else — credible, but rarely worth being seen in. Marlowe closes that gap: the same quality as the first, the same honesty as the second, without asking you to compromise on either.
The story is young. The standard is not.
"I did not set out to make another pair of glasses. I wanted to make one that earned its place in daily life, and made the person wearing it feel more put together."

Every corner of the city
An evening at a restaurant. An afternoon on a rooftop. A morning coffee. A walk through a park. The commute in between, and the desk at the end of it.
Marlowe is built to move through all of it, unchanged — effortless rather than staged, the same frame from the first coffee to the last drink. By the sea, by the pool, on the return home. It's not the setting that matters. It's that the frame belongs in it.
A mark, not a logo
We don't put our name on display. Nothing announced across the front, nothing branded down the arm. Marlowe is engraved once, in gold, on the inside of the right arm — a detail for the person wearing the frame, not the person looking at it from across the room.
We'd rather let the frame speak for itself, and keep the one signature that matters for those who take the time to look closely.
Built to last, not to rotate
We use premium black acetate for a reason — it holds its shape, its shine, and its structure well beyond a season. Diamond rivets on the front and both arms. A frame built the same way it's meant to be worn: for years, not for a moment.
We think the considered man would rather own two frames he genuinely loves and reaches for, than twenty he leaves in a drawer. Marlowe is built to be one of the two.
WELCOME
This is only the beginning
Marlowe is just starting. The Pelham is the first frame, not the only one. What won't change is the standard: worn over displayed, considered over multiplied, built to last rather than rotate.
Thank you for being here this early.
